GALLBLADDER DISEASES
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (Closed Gallbladder Surgery) involves removing the gallbladder by entering the abdomen through three or four holes. Its main advantages are early recovery, less pain, less risk of incisional hernia since it is made through a small incision, and early return to work. Removal of the appendix by laparoscopic (closed) method (appendectomy), inguinal hernia, examination of intra-abdominal organs (explorative laparoscopy), stomach and large intestine surgeries are also performed.
